Mizzou Tennis Set for Weekends Matches with Memphis and Minnesota

Mizzou will play Memphis on Saturday and Minnesota on Sunday
COLUMBIA, Mo. – The Mizzou Tennis team travels to Minneapolis, Minn. this weekend to take on Memphis and Minnesota. They will face Memphis on Feb. 22 at 11:30 a.m. CT and Minnesota on Feb. 23 at 10:00 a.m. CT.
In their last time out, Mizzou swept Southeast Missouri State in a pair of matches to improve to 8-2 on the season. Junior Marta Oliveira (Lisbon, Portugal) picked up two singles victories on the day while junior Ellie Wright (Gainesville, Fla.) and senior Serena Nash (Bradford, England) picked up one singles victory.
Memphis currently has a record of 4-3. In their last match, they narrowly defeated FIU, 4-3. Minnesota enters the weekend with an 8-2 record. In their last time out, they beat South Dakota, 7-0.
After this weekend's matches, the Tigers return home to begin SEC play against Mississippi St. on Feb. 28 at 5 p.m. CT.
