Mizzou Men’s Hoops Announces Schedule Notes

COLUMBIA, MO. – Mizzou Men's Basketball has received a tip time for the annual Braggin' Rights clash vs. Illinois. The rivalry matchup, which will take place at Mizzou Arena this season after the Tigers' won a special coin flip to determine the host, is set for a 7 p.m. tipoff on Saturday, Dec. 12. It will be played without fans in attendance. A television designation will be announced at a later date.

Mizzou has also added a nonconference game against Prairie View A&M on Dec. 18. Mizzou has faced the HBCU from Prairie View, Texas, twice in program history, with the latest meeting coming in 2008. Tip is set for 7 p.m. CT at Mizzou Arena on SEC Network Plus. The matchup with Prairie View A&M gives Mizzou five consecutive home games starting Dec. 9 vs. Liberty.

Mizzou continues its 2020-21 campaign Sunday at Wichita State after knocking off No. 21 Oregon on Wednesday in Omaha. Coach Cuonzo Martin's squad tips off against the Shockers at 1 p.m. on ESPN2.
