Team score of 868 was eighth-best in program history
Taking a quick look back at the 2019 fall season, the Missouri Tigers saw action in five tournaments, and had several highlights from the action.
The highlight of the fall was the team's performance in the 2019 Johnie Imes Invitational, held Sept. 30-Oct. 2 at The Club at Old Hawthorne, where the Tigers claimed their sixth-straight team title over 14 other programs.
The team showed great consistency, shooting daily scores of 290-289-289 for a final score of 868 which was seven shots clear of runner-up Oral Roberts (875), and 13 better than third-place Fresno State (881). The team score was good enough for eighth-best alltime on the Mizzou charts.
Individually, Noelle Beijer led the way for the Tigers, placing third overall with a five-under par 211 total (69-71-71) that was the 17th-best 54-hole total in program history. Beijer missed winning her first Division I tournament by just two strokes. Following closely was senior Cherise Otter, who turned in a career-best 213 total (71-69-73) to finish in a tie for fourth place. Two more in the starting five took home top-20 finishes, in freshmen Bri Bolden (T-13th / 222 = 75-74-73) and Sophia Yoemans (T-18th / 224 = 77-75-72), while sophomore Julia Bower wasn't far behind in a tie for 35th overall with a 227 total (75-76-76). Sophomore Keagan Dunn competed individually, and finished in a tie for 59th place with a three-day total of 235 (81-78-76).
