86 Tigers from 17 programs recognized for academic success
COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou Athletics placed 86 student-athletes on the 2019 First-Year Southeastern Conference Academic Honor Roll, announced Tuesday by league commissioner, Greg Sankey.
The First-Year SEC Academic Honor Roll is based on grades from the 2018-19 academic calendar.
A total of 1,002 student-athletes were named to this year's list. The complete 2018-19 First-Year SEC Academic Honor Roll and its corresponding nomination criteria is available here.
Mizzou was represented by 17 programs in this year's First-Year SEC Academic Honor Roll. Women's Track & Field garnered the most recipients with 13 honorees, while Baseball and Women's Swim & Dive each tallied 11 honorees.
