Trio will join head coach Barry Odom for the kickoff's first session at 11:30 a.m.
Mizzou Football season is nearly upon us and the official kickoff of the 2019 season begins next Monday as SEC Media Days begin in Hoover, Ala. The SEC announced attendees from all 14 league institutions Wednesday, including Mizzou's squad that will be on the ground. Representing Mizzou will be fourth-year head coach Barry Odom, senior CB DeMarkus Acy, senior QB Kelly Bryant and senior LB Cale Garrett.
Mizzou's session begins Monday at 11:30 a.m.
Coach Odom is slated to go live on the main stage at 12:05 p.m. (CT) on SEC Network and he will again be live at 2:10 p.m. (CT) on the main SEC Network set.
Acy is a bona fide All-American candidate after earning Second-Team All-SEC honors from the league's coaches for an outstanding season that saw him become one of the top corners in the league in 2018. He led the team and ranked seventh in the SEC with three interceptions on the year, including one he ran back 76 yards at Tennessee (11/17) that set up a Tiger score. He finished the year with 30 tackles in his 13 starts, including one tackle for loss, while ranking second on the team with 10 pass break-ups. He had two picks in Mizzou's big road win at Tennessee, becoming the first Tiger since John Gibson in 2016 to grab two interceptions in a game. Acy limited opposing QBs to just a 46.8 completion percentage when targeting his side of the field a year ago, the SEC's fifth-best mark. Sports Illustrated tabbed him as a potential first round draft pick earlier this summer in their 2020 NFL Mock Draft.

In 2018, hep played in four games before deciding to switch schools as a graduate transfer, going 36-for-54 (66.7 percent) for 461 yards and two touchdowns while adding 30 rushes for 130 yards and a pair of scores.

Garrett is a true field general at the middle linebacker position who emerged as one of the top linebackers in the defensive-minded SEC. He won first-team All-SEC acclaim by Pro Football Focus, while taking home second-team All-SEC honors from the league coaches, thanks to his outstanding season that saw him lead Mizzou and rank seventh in the league with a career-best 112 tackles. He added 6.5 tackles for loss on the season and had a quarterback sack, to go with six quarterback pressures and one pass break-up.
