Barry Odom had a surprise for St. Louis fans Wednesday
Mizzou Athletics and the Tiger Scholarship Fund have taken its coaches and student-athletes all over the state of Missouri this spring as part of its annual Coaches Caravans. In attempt to bring Mizzou Athletics to its fans all across the state, the crew has made stops in Mendon, St. Joseph, Kirksville, St. Louis and Kansas City. Mizzou also has trips to Cape Girardeau and Springfield on the calendar later this summer. Complete information on the remaining caravans can be found here.
Wednesday, Mizzou brought head football coach Barry Odom, head basketball coach Cuonzo Martin and head women's basketball coach Robin Pingeton to St. Louis, less than 24 hours after the St. Louis Blues clinched a spot in the Stanly Cup Finals for the first time in 49 years. Odom, wearing an appropriate shirt for the occasion, fired up the crowd with a 'Let's Go Blues' chant. That was just part of an exciting program that was brought to St. Louis. Watch the video below to see what Wednesday's action was all about and what fans can expect in Springfield and Cape Girardeau later this summer.
