Cross Country Camp set for June 16-20, Throws Camp June 29-30
COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou Track & Field is excited to host two youth summer camps this June, as Mizzou welcomes 6th-12th graders for a cross country and throws camp. Mizzou will host the cross country June 16-20 and the throws camp June 29-30. All registration details can be found at missouritrackcamps.com.
Athletes interested in the cross country camp will get to preview the upcoming new home of Mizzou Cross Country, the Gans Creek Cross Country Course, which will host the 2019 MSHSAA Cross Country Championships and 2020 SEC Championships.
Athletes interested in the throws camp will get a chance to work with Mizzou elite-level athletes and coaches who have competed and succeeded at the highest level of collegiate track and field.
Cross Country Camp - June 16-20
Description: A fun, educational experience designed to teach athletes about the physical and mental aspects of cross country in order to prepare them for the upcoming season. Every day campers are challenged to bring their best attitude and willingness to learn to the runs and training forums.

THROWS CAMP - JUNE 29-30
Description: A fun, throws-intensive camp with comprehensive coverage of shot put, discus, and javelin for all levels from beginner to advanced. The camp will be held at the University of Missouri and will include the latest technique, training, and drills necessary to develop future champions!
- All overnight arrangements are the responsibility of the camper and can be made at area hotels.
