Men’s Swim & Dive leads the way with 16 recipients
COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou Athletics placed 49 student-athletes on the 2018-19 Winter Southeastern Conference Academic Honor Roll, announced Wednesday (April 24) by SEC commissioner Greg Sankey.
The 2018-19 Winter SEC Academic Honor Roll includes the sports of basketball, equestrian, gymnastics and swimming & diving. It is based on grades from the 2018 Spring, Summer and Fall terms.
A total of 705 student-athletes from the SEC's 14 institutions were recognized on the year's list. The complete 2018—19 SEC Honor Roll and its corresponding nomination criteria can be found here.
All five eligible programs which Mizzou sponsors were represented in this year's Winter SEC Academic Honor Roll. Men's Swimming & Diving led the way with 16 total recognitions, while Women's Basketball had eight recognitions, marking the sixth consecutive season with six or more honorees.
