Tigers only muster one hit on offense in defeat
ATHENS, Ga. – No. 21 Mizzou Baseball (26-15-1, 7-10-1 SEC) was stifled on offense for the second time this trip, as No. 6 Georgia tallied a 4-2 series finale victory Saturday afternoon. The Tigers only mustered one hit against Bulldogs pitching.
Mizzou still had a bevy of chances Saturday at Foley Field, as Georgia hurlers issued six walks and hit a man. Unfortunately, the Tiger hitters continually produced hard-hit balls right at the Bulldogs defenders.

- Paul Gomez: 1-for-3, RBI
Hear From Head Coach Steve Bieser
On Saturday's frustrating performance…
"It really was. It was a frustrating weekend. You're not going to win many ballgames with just one hit. I thought our pitchers battled out there on the mound. TJ (Sikkema) didn't have his best stuff today, but he really battled. Cameron (Dulle) then kept us in this ballgame with great relief work."
#MIZ Takeaways
- Junior OF Kameron Misner produced his 16th stolen base of the season. The Poplar Bluff, Missouri, native is only one away from matching his single-season career-high in the category.
- Dulle has now produced four consecutive scoreless appearances out of the bullpen for Mizzou. Three of those four outings have occurred in SEC action (April 6 vs. Kentucky, April 14 vs. No. 8 LSU, April 20 at No. 6 Georgia).
