COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou Baseball (23-11-1, 5-6-1 SEC) will host a Southeastern Conference series for the second consecutive weekend, as No. 8 LSU makes the trek north to Mid-Missouri. The series opener between the two Tiger programs is slated for Friday evening at 6:30 p.m. CT.
A rare Saturday night contest is up next with first pitch slated for 5 p.m. CT. Sunday's series finale will begin at noon CT. The opening two contests this weekend at Taylor Stadium will broadcast live on SEC Network + via WatchESPN. Sunday's finale will air live on SEC Network.
Ben Arnet and former Mizzou Baseball head coach Tim Jamieson will be on the call Friday-Saturday. Mark Neely and Todd Walker will have the call Sunday afternoon.
Fans can also tune-in to KTGR (105.1 FM, 100.5 FM, 1580 AM) Friday-Sunday and all season long, as Tex Little and Matt Michaels return to the radio airwaves.

Series History vs. LSU
- Mizzou trails in the all-time series against LSU, 14-1.
- The two programs last met a season ago in Baton Rouge (March 16-18, 2018). LSU claimed a series win over Mizzou, earning victories in the series opener and finale. Mizzou's triumph in the middle game marked its first-ever victory over LSU.
- This weekend will be LSU's first visit to Taylor Stadium in three years (April 15-17, 2016). The visiting Tigers produced a series sweep over Mizzou in that weekend set.
- The programs' first-ever meeting occurring in 1986, as head coach Gene McArtor led the Mizzou Baseball program. The Tiger programs met twice in two years, but didn't meet again until 2013 when Mizzou joined the Southeastern Conference.
Mizzou Handles SIUE Tuesday in Road Non-Conference Midweek Matchup
- Mizzou recorded its third consecutive win Tuesday (April 9), producing a 10-3 victory over SIUE at Simmons Complex. Four Tigers tallied multi-RBI days at the plate, highlighting a 13-hit output against Cougars pitching.
- The Mizzou pitching staff was also solid Tuesday after a shaky start. SIUE recorded two runs in its first at bat, but the Tiger pitching staff rebounded nicely by limiting the opposition to one run over the final eight innings of play.
- Mizzou maintained its perfect record in Tuesday games this season, improving to 7-0 following its triumph over SIUE.
- The Tigers also improved their strong non-conference record this year to 18-5.
- After falling behind 2-0 in the first inning, Mizzou's eventual 10-3 victory over the Cougars secured its 13th come-from-behind win this season.
