One of the key storylines revolving the team during spring camp has been the shift in leadership for several of Mizzou's upperclassmen. With talented team leaders and captains like QB Drew Lock, DT Terry Beckner, Jr., LB Terez Hall and OL Paul Adams all exhausting their eligibility and now pursuing careers in the NFL, head coach Barry Odom has looked to several returnees to fill that role. What he has seen is the team evolving into a player-led group thanks to the efforts of players like LB Cale Garrett and OL Yasir Durant and Tre'Vour Wallace-Simms. They are just few of the many players who have stepped up and taken on larger leadership roles.

Newcomer QB Kelly Bryant has also been thrust into the leadership spotlight, and his teammates have embraced him, thanks to his team-first attitude and infectious personality. A clip from his first exclusive interview with Mizzou Network is below.
