Due to travel restrictions for Mizzou Sunday, the game is called after 10 innings
COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Due to travel restrictions on getaway day at Blue Bell Park, Mizzou Baseball (18-10-1, 3-5-1 SEC) and No. 11 Texas A&M played to a 2-2 tie. The weekend series in The Lone Star State ended in a 1-1-1 split.
Sunday was Mizzou's first game to result in a tie in 15 years. The Tigers and Washington Huskies couldn't claim a winner on March 7, 2004, in Seattle, as the teams tied 6-6 in 10 innings of play.

#MIZ Takeaways
- Cornelius, McDaniel and Gomez each finished with multi-hit days at the plate Sunday. Cornelius' pair of hits marked his team-leading 13th game with multiple hits this season.
- McDaniel's two hits against the Aggies was his 10th multi-hit effort on the year. He and Cornelius are the lone Tigers with double-digit multi-hit games to their 2019 resume.
- Sikkema was outstanding Sunday despite receiving a no decision. Both of his runs allowed were unearned, as a costly E3 by the Tigers in the fourth inning was the difference maker.
- The Tiger southpaw has gotten better each time out in his three Southeastern Conference starts this year, allowing 3 ER at No. 10 Arkansas (March 16), 1 ER vs. No. 20 Ole Miss (March 23) and 0 ER this afternoon at No. 11 Texas A&M.
- Overall this weekend in College Station, the Mizzou pitching staff excelled yet again with a 1.64 ERA over 33.0 innings of work. The Tiger hurlers struck out 28 Aggie batters while limiting them to a .211 batting average.
- Capped off by his strong 3.0 shutout innings out of the bullpen Sunday, Ash didn't allow a run in 4.0 total innings (two appearances) this weekend at Blue Bell Park.
- At the plate, Gomez was fantastic hitting .462 (6-for-13) with two doubles and one RBI. Junior UTIL Peter Zimmermann and McDaniel also performed well, hitting .400 (6-for-15) and .385 (5-for-13), respectively.
