Inside Access: Coach David Gibbs Mic'd Up

First-year assistant coach has brought energy and an emphasis on turnovers to spring practice
David Gibbs joined the Mizzou Football coaching staff as an assistant coach earlier this year. Gibbs is a 25-year veteran of the coaching industry, including 11 seasons as a defensive coordinator in the college ranks, and nine seasons as a defensive backs coach for three different NFL teams.
As Mizzou began spring practice this month, Gibbs is on the field with his players and is already making an impact with his energy and attitude. He has also brought an increased emphasis on forcing more turnovers when coaching the secondary.
MUTigers.com got the chance to 'Mic Up' Coach Gibbs during spring practice to help introduce him to the fan base, giving them an inside look into his coaching style. Watch the video below.
