Storylines
- Mizzou is 4-4 all-time vs. Auburn. Mizzou is looking for its second win on the road over Auburn.
- Senior Jordan Geist is coming off his first career double-double with a season-high 25 points and a career-high 11 rebounds vs. LSU. He is one of eight high major players to post at least 25 points, 11 rebounds, two assists and two steals in the same game this season. He's scored 20+ points in a game five times this season after notching 15+ just six times in his previous two seasons combined.
- Geist is one of four players in the SEC to rank in the Top 20 in scoring (14.0 PPG) and Top 10 in assists (4.0) during league play alongside Tremont Waters, Quinndary Weatherspoon and Jared Harper.

Pickett and Suggs Stepping Up
- Freshman Javon Pickett has started and scored in 17 of 18 games in his rookie campaign, providing energy on both ends to spark Mizzou.
- Pickett had the best performance of his career against the Gamecocks, scoring 21 points on 7-of-11 shooting at South Carolina. He drained a career-high three 3-pointers and converted all four his free throw attempts while collecting a career-best two steals.
- Mizzou is 3-3 when Pickett reaches double figures.
- Redshirt junior walk-on Ronnie Suggs has played 59 minutes over the last three games after playing 52 total minutes in the previous 15 games combined, igniting the Tigers defensively.
- Suggs scored a season-high nine points and added four rebounds in 29 minutes vs. LSU, hitting his first 3-pointer as a Tiger.
