
Mizzou Announces 2018 Mizzou Football Concert Series Presented by Say Insurance

Free concert series to take place before each home game
COLUMBIA, Mo. – For the second consecutive year, Mizzou Athletics will host the Mizzou Football Concert Series Presented by Say Insurance before every Mizzou Football home game, announced Tuesday. The concert series is free to the public and will take place in Tiger Town on the west side of the Hearnes Center, in the middle of the pregame tailgate festivities on Mick Deaver Drive. Concerts will begin following the Tiger Walk and last for approximately one hour to leave Mizzou fans ample time prior to kickoff to enter the stadium. Admission to the concert series is free and does not require a game ticket.
This year features another exciting lineup of both national and local artists. Below is this year's schedule:
- Sept. 1 – UT Martin – The Norm Ruebling Band
- Sept. 8 – Wyoming – Ha Ha Tonka
- Sept. 22 – Georgia – Roots N Blues Showcase
- Oct. 20 – Memphis – Nico & Vinz
- Oct. 27 – Kentucky – LOCASH
- Nov. 10 – Vanderbilt - Murphy's Ford
- Nov. 23 – Arkansas – Shiloh
The Sept. 22 concert will be a compilation of artists that will appear at the annual Roots N Blues BBQ Music Festival from Sept. 28-30. More information can be found at rootsnbluesnbbq.com.
The Oct. 27 concert will be a partnership with the Mizzou Interfraternity Council for their inaugural philanthropy event benefiting the Boys and Girls Club of Columbia. This event will connect IFC and their chapters with the Mizzou community as well as benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Columbia. For more information, contact IFCProgramming@missouri.edu.
In addition to hosting the Tailgate Concert Series and Tiger Walk, Tiger Town is the place to be for Mizzou fans on Gameday. The area will feature bounce houses, team autograph sessions, face painting, photo opportunities, giveaways and sponsored vendors available in the pre-game fan fest environment.
Mizzou Football will open the 2018 season on Sept. 1, 2018, against UT Martin at Memorial Stadium.
