COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou Softball begins 2018 postseason play this weekend at the NCAA Norman Regional. The Tigers will be joined by host Oklahoma, recipient of the No. 4 national seed and No. 1 seed in this weekend's bracket, No. 3 seed Tulsa and No. 4 seed Boston University.
Mizzou's Norman Regional opener is scheduled for Friday (May 18) afternoon against the Golden Hurricanes. First pitch is slated for 3:30 p.m. CT and the matchup will broadcast online via WatchESPN.
The Tigers are making their 22nd all-time appearance in an NCAA Regional this weekend. Mizzou possesses a strong 43-24 (.642) all-time record in NCAA Regional play with 11 championships. The Tigers are seeking their first trip to an NCAA Super Regional since 2016.
