COLUMBIA, MO. - No. 15 Mizzou Women's Basketball (17-5, 5-4) continues a three-game homestand with a matchup vs. Florida on Monday at Mizzou Arena. No. 15 Mizzou Continues Homestand vs. Florida
- Mizzou is three wins shy of reaching 20 victories for the third consecutive season for the first time since 1984-1987. The Tigers have 17 wins already for the sixth straight campaign.
- Mizzou has had a higher field goal percentage than its opponent in 20 of 22 games. The Tigers held Mississippi State to its worst shooting performance (30.5%) and scoring performance (57) of the season.
- The Tigers have won 10 of their last 14 regular season SEC games. Mizzou owns a winning streak against seven of 13 SEC opponents.
- Mizzou allows the ninth-fewest rebounds per game in the nation, as opponents grab just 30.8 per game. Coach Pingeton's squad ranks 10th in the nation in rebound margin.
- The Tigers rank second in the SEC in free throw percentage, shooting 75.3 percent. Mizzou set a program record last season, shooting 80.2 percent.
- Mizzou has spent all 13 weeks of the season in the Top 25 in the AP poll. The Tigers spent just seven weeks ranked all of last season. Since the beginning of the 2015-16 campaign, Mizzou has spent 26 weeks in the Top 25.
- Mizzou has been ranked for 17 consecutive weeks over two seasons. That is the 14th-longest such streak in the nation.
- Junior Sophie Cunningham is the only player in the nation shooting at least 84 percent from the free throw line, 45 percent from 3-point range AND 54 percent from the field, arguably putting together the most efficient season by any player in the nation.
- The Tigers have won 14 of their last 16 home games and 39 of the last 45.
- Redshirt senior Jordan Frericks grabbed nine rebounds Thursday and now has 961 career boards. That's the 10th-most among active players in the nation. She is 39 rebounds shy of becoming just the third Tiger ever in the 1,000-rebound, 1000-point club.
- Mizzou has held opponents under 60 points 15 times this season and the Tigers are 14-1 in those contests. They've done so in 14 of the past 19 games. Only LSU, Vanderbilt. Georgia and South Carolina have scored more than 59 points against Mizzou since Wright State on Nov. 16. The Tigers are the only SEC team that has held opponents under 60 points at least 14 times. Mizzou held opponents under 60 points just 11 times all of last season.
- The Tigers rank second in the SEC in field goal percentage defense (35.1%) and fourth in field goal percentage (45.5%). Mizzou is one just three teams in the SEC to rank in the top four in the league in both categories, alongside Tennessee and South Carolina.
