@MizzouHoops and Aggies tip off at 6 p.m. CT on ESPNU from Mizzou Arena
Mizzou Men's Basketball (17-8, 7-5) has won four-straight Southeastern Conference games for the first time as members of the league, as the Tigers held off Mississippi State in overtime, 89-85, on Saturday, Feb. 10.
Mizzou will look to make it five-in-a-row as No. 21 Texas A&M (17-8, 6-6) visits Columbia on Tuesday, Feb. 13, with tipoff coming at 6 p.m. CT on ESPNU and the Tiger Radio Network.
Story Lines
- The four-game conference winning streak is Mizzou's first since the 2011-12 season when the Tigers reeled off seven-straight.
- Head coach Cuonzo Martin has turned the Mizzou program back around in remarkable fashion. At 17-8 overall, the Tigers have more than doubled last season's win total (8-24). Through 25 games last season, the Tigers were 7-18 and 2-11 in conference action.
- The Tigers are the third-most improved team in the country, record-wise. North Carolina A&T is at 15-10 after going 3-29 last season, while UC Santa Barbara is 19-5 after a 6-22 mark in 2016-17.
- Mizzou will look to avenge an earlier setback this season on the road at Texas A&M (Jan. 20), as the Aggies defeated the Tigers by a score of 60-49.
- Graduate senior guard Kassius Robertson became the first player to earn back-to-back SEC Player of the Week honors this season (Feb. 12), earning the award for the second consecutive week after scoring a season-high 27 points at Ole Miss (Feb. 6) and 22 points vs. Mississippi State (Feb. 10).
- Robertson has averaged 16.6 points per game overall, a total that sets him apart as the nation's highest-scoring graduate transfer at the high major level (as of Feb. 10).
- The win over MSU came in Mizzou's third-annual #RallyForRhyan Game, played in support of Rhyan Loos' ongoing fight against neuroblastoma. Rhyan's story has spawned its own campaign to fund cancer research. Mizzou is 3-0 in #RallyForRhyan games.
Kash Money
- Graduate senior guard Kassius Robertson has played his way into any conversations being had about postseason accolades, especially around the Southeastern Conference. Robertson became the first SEC player this season to claim back-to-back league player of the week honors (Feb. 12) with his efforts at Ole Miss (Feb. 6) and against Mississippi State (Feb. 10), averaging 24.5 points between the two wins to help Mizzou to its first four-game conference winning streak since 2011-12.
- Robertson scored a season-best 27 points in the win in Oxford, which he followed up with 22 points in the overtime win over the Bulldogs. The graduate transfer sank five three-pointers in both victories.
- In SEC games, Robertson ranks fourth in scoring (18.3), second in free throw percentage (.914), third in three-point field goal percentage (.443), second in three-pointers made per game (3.3) and first in minutes played (38.3).
- Robertson earned his first SEC Player of the Week award for his leading role in Mizzou's wins at Alabama (Jan. 31, 69-60) and vs. No. 21 Kentucky (Feb. 3, 69-60), as he averaged 19.0 points across the two victories.
- Robertson's first weekly SEC honor was significant in that it was Mizzou's first in four seasons. The previous time a Tiger earned SEC Player of the Week before Robertson's recognition was during the 2013-14 season when former guard Jordan Clarkson earned the award on Dec. 30, 2013.
- The graduate transfer from Canisius is averaging a solid 16.6 points per game, a total that ranks No. 1 among graduate transfers playing at the high major level. That total stands as fourth-best overall among all grad. transfers across NCAA Division I.
Scouting Texas A&M
- Texas A&M enters Tuesday's contest on a four-game winning streak, matching the Tigers for the longest active streak in the SEC. Overall, the Aggies are 17-8 on the season and 6-6 in SEC play.
- This past week, Texas A&M knocked off two ranked opponents, beating then-No. 8 Auburn, 81-80 on the road (Feb. 7), and then-No. 24 Kentucky, 85-74, at home (Feb. 10).
- Four Aggies enter the game averaging double-figures in scoring, led by junior center Tyler Davis, who averages 14.3 points per game. Sophomore forward Robert Williams leads the team in rebounding with 9.6 rebounds per game while scoring 10.8 points per game.

- Mizzou improved to 8-0 on the season when leading at halftime at Mizzou Arena after the Tigers took a 44-33 lead at the break.
3-0 In #RallyForRhyan Games

- Played in support of Mizzou Athletics' staff member Brad Loos' seven-year old daughter, Rhyan, the #RallyForRhyan movement began to raise awareness for Rhyan's ongoing fight against pediatric cancer. More than $100,000 was raised across the first two #RallyForRhyan games, including more than $54,000 during last season's game against Arkansas, an 83-78 win (Feb. 4, 2017).
- In the first #RallyForRhyan Game during the 2015-16 season (Feb. 13), Mizzou took care of business against Tennessee, 75-64.
