All you need to know in advance of Mizzou’s sold out dual at Park Hill vs. Virginia in Kansas City
COLUMBIA, Mo. – Sixth-ranked Mizzou Wrestling will host Virginia in a neutral-site dual this Thursday (Dec. 20) at Park Hill High School in Kansas City. The dual is completely sold out as a capacity crowd is expected at Park Hill. Fans must have their tickets in hand to enter the dual, unless they are picking up at will-call, which will be in the lobby of Park Hill's gymnasium. Below is all of the information that fans who wish to attend the dual need to know:
TICKETS: The dual is completely sold out and there are no tickets left for purchase. With the purchase of one ticket, fans will have access to both the Mizzou vs Virginia dual and Park Hill High School vs Liberty High School dual Ticket will-call will be in the lobby of the PHHS gymnasium. Doors will open at 4 p.m. Park Hill vs Liberty dual will begin at 5 p.m. and the Mizzou vs. Virginia dual will begin at 7 p.m.
MAT-SIDE TICKETS: Mizzou fans who have purchased mat-side season tickets will be able to sit mat-side for Thursday's dual. Each mat-side season ticket holder will receive a wristband that will allow access to the floor level. Seating, just like matches at the Hearnes Center, will be first-come, first-serve. Wristbands will be handed out in the lobby of the Park Hill Gymnasium (the same spot as will-call).
PRE-MATCH SOCIAL: Mizzou fans in the KC area can attend a pre-match social at 5 p.m. at Chicken N Pickle at 1761 Burlington Rd, North Kansas City.
BAG CHECK: Since the event is an official home meet for Mizzou, the typical bag check rules will apply and fans attending the dual can expect to have their bags checked. There is no clear bag policy for wrestling.
PARK HILL DUAL: Park Hill High School will wrestle rival Liberty High School beginning at 5 p.m. Mizzou's dual with Virginia will begin at 7 p.m. Seating is all general admission (with the exception of mat-side seating) so fans are encouraged to arrive early to get the best seats.
PARKING: Mizzou fans attending the dual are encouraged to park in the following lots: A, B, C, D, F, G with overflow parking in H, I, J and K. Accessible Parking is available in Lot E (directly north of the gymnasium entrance). There is also an orchestra event going on that night at Park Hill, so plan extra time for parking when heading to the dual.
WEB STREAM: Thursday's dual will be available at FloWrestling.com with a small charge to those who wish to watch. Updates will also be available via @MizzouWrestling on Twitter.
