@MizzouBaseball Announces 2019 Schedule

Primed for his third season in black and gold, Mizzou Baseball head coach Steve Bieser announced the upcoming 2019 schedule Friday. The Tigers are set for 56 regular season games – 27 home, 29 away/neutral – beginning with a trip to Jacksonville, Florida, from Feb. 15-17 for a three-game series at North Florida.

COLUMBIA, Mo. – Primed for his third season in black and gold, Mizzou Baseball head coach Steve Bieser announced the upcoming 2019 schedule Friday. The Tigers are set for 56 regular season games – 27 home, 29 away/neutral – beginning with a trip to Jacksonville, Florida, from Feb. 15-17 for a three-game series at North Florida.

This upcoming season's schedule features 10 NCAA Tournament qualifiers from last year, highlighted by four NCAA qualifying Southeastern Conference foes set to visit Taylor Stadium.

Mizzou opens its 2019 campaign with eight-straight contests on the road, all occurring in the state of Florida. Following their aforementioned season-opening series against the Ospreys, the Tigers will compete in single-game matchups versus Florida A&M and Northeastern. Mizzou's long trip to The Sunshine State concludes from Feb. 22-24 with a weekend series against Rhode Island.

The Tigers will make a quick pit stop in Mid-Missouri on Feb. 26 for their 2019 home opener. The month of March opens with back to back single-game nonconference contests in Conway, Arkansas. Beginning on March 5, Mizzou will play a season-high six consecutive games at home. The Tigers' first home weekend series is slated from March 8-10 versus Northwestern.

SEC play opens on March 15 with a weekend visit to 2018 College World Series runner-up Arkansas. The Tigers return to Columbia, Missouri, from March 19-24 for five games in six days, starting with a pair of single-game meetings versus Murray State. Mizzou will compete against Ole Miss in its 2019 SEC home-opener series.

March concludes with five games in the state of Texas, as the Tigers will visit UT-San Antonio and Incarnate Word on the 26th and 27th, respectively. Mizzou heads to College Station from March 29-31 for a weekend battle with Texas A&M.

Mizzou fans will enjoy the month of April with 12 total games scheduled at Taylor Stadium. Action opens with a mid-week matchup versus Saint Louis on April 2. Three days later, Kentucky visits Mid-Missouri for a three-game series from April 5-7.

Following a quick mid-week road trip to SIU-Edwardsville on April 9, the Tigers quickly return to Taylor Stadium for another big SEC series against LSU from April 12-14. Mizzou and Missouri State's annual home and home two-game series opens with the Tigers visiting Springfield on April 16.

SEC road action continues from April 18-20 with Mizzou traveling to Georgia. Missouri State wraps up its season-series with Mizzou on April 23 at Taylor Stadium, supervened by a three-game set against South Carolina from April 26-28. Southeast Missouri makes the trip north to Columbia on April 30 to conclude the month.

In the final month of the regular season, Tennessee and Vanderbilt will host the Tigers for SEC weekend matchups from May 3-5 and May 10-12, respectively. Mizzou's overall and home regular season finale is scheduled from May 16-18 with Florida visiting Taylor Stadium.
