COLUMBIA, MO. - No. 11 Mizzou Women's Basketball (17-2), winners of four in a row, launch a crucial three-game stretch against ranked teams with a trip to No. 21 Georgia. Tip off is set for 6 p.m. CT Thursday on SEC Network +. The Tigers and Bulldogs boasts identical 17-2 (5-1) records and will square off with a sole possession of second place in the SEC standings on the line. Mizzou has won three consecutive games by double digits are and the Tigers are hoping to build on its program-best start.
No. 11 Mizzou and No. 21 Georgia Set for Top-25 Showdown in Athens
- Mizzou's 5-1 mark in SEC action is already its best to start to league play since the Tigers joined the conference in 2012.
- The Tigers have won 10 of their last 11 regular season SEC games. Mizzou owns a winning streak against nine of 13 SEC opponents.
- Mizzou has won three consecutive league games by double digits for just the second time as members of the SEC. The Tigers haven't won four straight league games by double digits since Feb. 8-Feb. 18, 1986.
- Mizzou recently secured its fourth win in program history against a team ranked in the top four of the AP poll. Before the victory over No. 4 South Carolina, the last such win came against No. 4 Baylor when the Tigers won 64-61 on Jan. 4, 2006.
- Mizzou is now 6-0 against Top 25 teams at Mizzou Arena since Jan. 4, 2016.
- Mizzou allows the second-fewest rebounds per game in the nation, as opponents grab just 29.6 per game. Coach Pingeton's squad ranks sixth in the nation in rebound margin and 11th in the nation in defensive rebounds per game.
- Mizzou boasts a 5-0 record in true road games this season with wins over No. 21 California, Vanderbilt, Alabama, Ole Miss and Missouri State.
- In those games, Mizzou is shooting an efficent 45.2 percent from the field, including 42.2 from beyond the arc.
- Sophie Cunningham and Amber Smith are averaing 15.0 points and 12.4 points per game in true road games, respectively, while sophomore Jordan Chavis is chipping in 8.6 points per game off the bench.
- Thursday's win over Ole Miss gave Mizzou its second 5-0 start in true road games in the last three seasons. The Tigers won five staight road games in 2015-16 (at Missouri State, Wichita State, Saint Mary's, Colorado, Georgia).
- An SEC team has recorded 20+ assists in a league game 10 times thus far. Mizzou is responsible for four of those occasions with all four coming in the last four games.
- Mizzou has piled up 20+ assists in four consecutive games for just the second time since 2002 with the last time occurring in 2013. This is the first time in program history the Tigers have done so in four consecutive league games.
- So far this season, the Tigers are assisting on 63.5 percent of their field goals, the highest percentage in the SEC.
- Redshirt junior Lauren Aldridge dishes a team-best 4.1 assists per game, which ranks eighth in the SEC. She's recording 4.7 APG in league play.
- She ranks second in the league and 13th in the nation in assist-to-turnover ratio (3.0) and 20th in the league in minutes played (31.0).
- Aldridge has piled up 18 assists and committed just one turnover in the last three games combined.
- Mizzou is shooting a 38.9 percent from beyond the arc this season (153-of-393). As of now that's on pace to set a new program record, edging the 1989-90 and 2013-14 teams who shot 37.3 percent from deep.
- Mizzou currently ranks second in the SEC in 3-point field goal percentage. The Tigers have stepped up from deep in conference play, shooting 46.4 percent over their first five league games, which leads the SEC during conference action.
- In five conference games, Pingeton's squad is averaging 9.7 three-pointers per game.

- Mizzou and Gerogia meet for the 11th time in their program histories.
- Mizzou is looking for its second consecutive victory over the Bulldogs and the first true road win over a Top 25 team since downing No. 12 Texas A&M, 70-69, on Feb. 26, 2015. The Tigers are out to a 5-0 start in road games with three of those wins coming by double digits.
- Mizzou has not beaten Georgia on the road since Jan. 7, 2015.
