COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou Softball senior Paige Bange (Jefferson City, Mo.) was named to the 2018 Southeastern Conference Softball Community Service Team, announced Wednesday (May 9) by the league office.
The SEC sponsors Community Service Teams for all 21 league sponsored sports. The Community Service Team looks to highlight an athlete from each school who gives back to their community in superior service efforts.
In her four years at the University of Missouri, Bange has accumulated nearly 50 hours of community service. She has volunteered her time at institutions such as the Mid-Missouri Food Bank, Special Olympics, Columbia Elementary School Reading Day and visits to patients at the University of Missouri Children's Hospital.
Bange is a two-time member of the SEC Academic Honor Roll, a three-time honoree on the Human Environmental Sciences Dean's List and a member of the 2014-15 SEC First-Year Academic Honor Roll.
