TIGER TIDBITS

  • The Tigers own a 5-0-1 all-time record over the Commodores, including a 1-0-1 mark in Nashville
  • Last season, Missouri recorded a 2-1 win over Vanderbilt in Columbia
  • Last weekend, the Tigers suffered a pair of tough conference losses, a 3-1 defeat at Missouri State and a 5-1 home loss Texas A&M
  • Against the Aggies, senior Kaitlyn Clark notched her first goal of the year in the second half
  • The senior now has four points on one goal and two assists, all of which have come over the last four matches
  • Freshman Tess Rellihan notched Mizzou's goal against the Bulldogs, her team-leading fifth of the season. She also paces Missouri with 11 points
  • Mizzou scored six total goals in games Sept. 15 and 17, with a 3-1 win over Georgia in the SEC opener and a 3-0 shutout over Albany
  • The scoring output in those games matched a season best, also recorded against Illinois in the season opener
  • Additionally, redshirt sophomore Madison Lewis scored in each of Mizzou's games over Georgia and Albany
  • Junior keeper Kelsey Dossey stopped a penalty kick and earned an assist in her 45 minutes of action against Georgia
  • Nine different Tigers have found the back of the net this season: seniors Kaitlyn Clark, Allie Hess, Jessica Johnson and Savannah Trujillo, redshirt sophomore Lewis, sophomore Sarah Luebbert and freshmen Rellihan, Macy Trujillo and Lindsey Whitmore

LAST TIME OUT

  • The Tigers suffered a pair of tough losses last weekend, a 3-1 road loss at Mississippi State on Sept. 21 and a 5-1 home defeat to Texas A&M on Sept. 24
  • Freshman Tess Rellihan tallied her team-leading fifth goal of the year against the Bulldogs
  • Against the Aggies on Sunday, senior Kaitlyn Clark notched her first goal of the year in the second half
  • Clark now has four points on the year, all of which have come in the last four matches

RELLIHAN ON A SCORING SPREE

  • Freshman Tess Rellihan currently leads the Tigers in both total points (11) and goals (five)
  • In fact, all four of her goals have come over the last seven matches
  • Rellihan tallied her first career goal at TCU on Sept. 7, added another against San Diego State, scored two on Sept. 17 in a win over Albany and notched Mizzou's lone goal at Mississippi State
  • She also added an assist on a goal against Georgia on Sept. 15

OFFENSE PICKING UP

  • Mizzou's offense has notched eight goals over the last four matches after accumulating only nine over the first eight matches of the year
  • The three goals scored against both Georgia (Sept. 15) and Albany (Sept. 17) matched the team's season high, as they also netted three at Illinois in the season opener
  • Nine different Tigers have scored so far this season, led by freshman Tess Rellihan's five
  • Also with multiple goals are senior Jessica Johnson and redshirt sophomore Madison Lewis, who each have three
  • Other Tigers with goals include seniors Kaitlyn Clark, Allie Hess and Savannah Trujillo, sophomore Sarah Luebbert and freshmen Macy Trujillo and Lindsey Whitmore

DOSSEY DOES IT ALL AGAINST GEORGIA

  • Junior keeper Kelsey Dossey made an impact all over the field in Mizzou's 3-1 win over Georgia on Sept. 15
  • In 45 minutes of action in the first half, she stopped a potentially game-tying penalty kick, earned her first career assist on Mizzou's first shot, and held the Bulldogs scoreless in the first half
  • With her assist, Dossey is the first Tiger keeper to earn an assist (while playing goal) since Mallory Forst against Texas A&M on Sept. 28, 2007

WHITMORE NABS MEMORABLE FIRST CAREER GOAL

  • Freshman Lindsey Whitmore's first goal in a Tiger uniform was a memorable one, as she netted the game-winner in Mizzou's 2-1 comeback win over San Diego State on Sept. 10
  • Missouri trailed 1-0 early in the first half and made it a 1-1 match by halftime
  • With the score still tied in the 69th minute, Whitmore one-timed a loose ball in the box on the open net to propel the Tigers to the win and put her into the scoring column
  • Whitmore became the seventh Tiger to score a goal so far this season, including the third freshman
