COLUMBIA, Mo. - History was made Monday afternoon when totality of the 2017 solar eclipse happened right over Columbia, Mo., and the University of Missouri. With the Mid-Missouri area being one of the best places in the nation to watch the solar eclipse, many of Mizzou's 20 varsity athletic programs watched in awe as a total eclipse took place for more than two full minutes.
