COLUMBIA, Mo. – What does it mean to be #MizzouMade? That moniker has been a staple for Mizzou Student-Athletes for years. It is often associated with athletes who have excelled at the highest levels of their respective sports, but the true meaning runs much deeper.
While there are certainly examples of former Mizzou student-athletes excelling in professional athletics, there is a much larger contingent of Mizzou student-athletes who are thriving in today's fast-paced, competitive work environment. What each of those student-athletes learned while at Mizzou has prepared them for life after college.
The mission of Mizzou Athletics remains to prepare champions for life through a personal enhancement model that emphasizes academic and athletic excellence, social responsibility, career development and leadership in order to help each student-athlete become a prepared professional in any field upon earning their degree.
#MizzouMade Monday aims to tell those stories of student-athletes who are bringing those values and ideals of Mizzou into the real world every day.
Over the next year, Mizzou Athletics aims to tell the stories of student-athletes who have gone on to have successful careers while also showing the impact that current student-athletes have in the Mizzou and Mid-Missouri communities and the impact they have on the landscape of their fields nationally as well. The campaign, titled #MizzouMade Monday, will examine the lives and stories of former and current Mizzou student-athletes whose lives were enhanced by their time at Mizzou thanks to generous contributions to Mizzou's Tiger Scholarship Fund.
The first edition of #MizzouMade Monday looks at current Mizzou Football head coach Barry Odom. Drawing from his experiences as a player at Mizzou, Coach Odom is building a Mizzou Football program around many of the ideals he has come to personify thanks to his time at Mizzou. Check out Coach Odom's journey from a hard-nosed, small-town Oklahoma kid to head football coach at Mizzou below.

The stories that will be told in #MizzouMade Monday over the coming months are made possible thanks to the generous contributions of fans to Mizzou's Tiger Scholarship Fund (TSF). Support to TSF helps Mizzou Athletics prepare champions for life. The mission of the TSF is to provide financial resources to maximize the impact of the overall Mizzou student-athlete experience and to uphold the core values of the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics: social responsibility, academic integrity and competitive excellence.
