Series Snapshot
- Mizzou leads the all-time series over SEMO, 25-3.
- In the teams' last meeting, the Tigers claimed a 10-1 victory over the Redhawks (March 11, 2015) in Columbia, Mo.
- Before their double dip two years ago, Mizzou and SEMO hadn't played each other since 2012. The Tigers came out on top then as well, producing a convincing 9-0 victory.
- Mizzou and Nebraska-Omaha are set for their first all-time meeting.
Mizzou Adds Another Top 10 Ranked Victory
- Mizzou took one of three in its series at No. 7 Auburn (April 14-16) this past weekend. The visiting Tigers claimed the series opener, 6-1, but dropped the final two games of their weekend set in Auburn, Ala.
- Mizzou's convincing triumph last Friday evening marked its seventh win over a nationally ranked top 25 opponent this season, including its fifth impressive victory over a nationally ranked top 10 foe.
Tigers Continue Loaded 2017 Schedule
- The Tigers' tough 2017 schedule – particularly in SEC action – has opened the door for potential nationally ranked and high NCAA RPI wins on a weekly basis.
- Mizzou has now topped No. 7 Washington (Feb. 24), No. 7 Texas A&M (March 25), No. 9 Alabama (March 31, April 2) and No. 7 Auburn (April 14) this season.
- The Tigers currently stand at No. 28 in the latest NCAA RPI rankings. Mizzou has faced one of the toughest schedules in the country this season, including 11 games against teams currently placed in the RPI top 10 (two at No. 1 Florida, three at No. 2 Auburn, one vs. No. 4 Washington, three at No. 5 Texas A&M, two vs. No. 7 Oregon).
- The tough schedule looks even more impressive when you expand Mizzou's matchups against current RPI top 25 ball clubs, as it has competed in an incredible 20 games against those specific opponents.
- The Tigers will continue to have their hands full as they wind down their 2017 regular season. Still awaiting on the schedule are three games vs. No. 16 Kentucky, three games at No. 12 LSU and three games vs. No. 30 Ole Miss.
