COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou Softball (18-13, 1-4 SEC) begins a season-high 10-game homestand this weekend (March 31 – April 2) with No. 9 Alabama visiting Mid-Missouri. The Tigers will welcome the Crimson Tide (31-4, 7-2 SEC) to Mizzou Softball Stadium, marking the new facilities' first-ever SEC home series.
Friday evening's series opener is scheduled for a 6:30 p.m. (CT) first pitch and will broadcast live on SEC Network + via WatchESPN. Saturday's matchup is set for its new 5 p.m. (CT) start time and will be showcased on SEC Network.
Mizzou and Alabama conclude its three-game weekend set on Sunday afternoon. First pitch is scheduled for 12 p.m. (CT) and the game will air on SEC Network + via Watch ESPN.
Tickets will be available at the main gate through the Mizzou Ticket Office booth. Adult tickets are $8, while youth and senior tickets are available for $5 apiece. University of Missouri students can receive free admission with a valid student ID.

- In the teams' last meeting, the Crimson Tide claimed a 16-2 (5 inn.) victory on March 28, 2016, in Tuscaloosa, Ala.
Mizzou Tallies Win at #7 Texas A&M
- Mizzou completed a 1-2 road trip at No. 7 Texas A&M this past weekend (March 24-26), highlighted by a 5-1 victory last Saturday afternoon in College Station.
- The Tigers' triumph over the Aggies in game two of the three-game series marked their third top 25 ranked win and second top 10 victory of the season.
- Senior Cheyenne Baxter was stellar in the circle in Mizzou's game two win, firing a complete game while only allowing five hits, one earned run and zero walks. It marked Baxter's third complete game victory of the 2017 campaign.
- Mizzou's offense performed well over its recent weekend SEC stretch, collectively hitting .306 (22-for-78). Sophomore Regan Nash topped all Tigers hitters with an outstanding .556 (5-for-9) trip at the plate.
