COLUMBIA, Mo. - No. 15 Missouri returns home to the Hearnes Center to host No. 18 Auburn on Friday, March 3 at 7 p.m. CT. The meet will be broadcast live on SEC Network + and televised on tape delay on Sunday, March 5 at 11:30 a.m. CT. Laura Rutledge and Bridget Sloan will be on the call.

- Mizzou is ranked No. 15 in this week's RoadToNational's rankings with a regional qualifying score (RQS) of 196.145
- Additionally, Missouri ranks 10th nationally on vault, 16th on floor, 19th on beam and 21st on bars
- Sophomore Britney Ward ranks eighth nationally on vault (9.910 RQS) and is tied for 11th on beam (9.895 RQS)
- Junior Kennedi Harris also ranks tied for 12th nationally on floor with an RQS of 9.905
- Additionally, freshman Aspen Tucker is 23th in the all-around (39.150)
- The Tigers tallied a season-high 196.750 at Florida on Feb. 24
- The 196.750 also stands at the sixth-highest score in program history and the second-best road tally in school history
- The Tigers scored a 49.175 or higher on all four events against the Gators to accomplish that feat for only the second time in program history. The squad also did in on Feb. 6, 2004 at the Cat Classic against BYU, Kentucky and Penn State
- Mizzou's 196.750 also gave the team five scores of at least 196 on the season for only the fourth time in team history. The 2004 squad reached the mark nine times, while the 2010 and 2016 teams also accomplished it five times
- Mizzou earned a 195.850-193.950 win over then-No. 12 Arkansas on Jan. 13 and scored a 196.225 in wins over Lindenwood and Southeast Missouri on Jan. 15
- The Tigers' win over the Razorbacks marked the team's first SEC road victory in program history
- Mizzou broke the program vault record against Lindenwood and Southeast Missouri with a team total of 49.425, besting the old high of 49.375 set in 2004
- The Tigers opened the 2017 season with a score of 196.225 and wins over then-No. 24 Illinois (194.200) and Ball State (193.625) on Jan. 6. Missouri's score stands as the highest opening-meet score in Tiger history, besting the old high of 195.350 set in 2016 and 2004
- Mizzou's 2017 slate was ranked the fourth-toughest in the country entering the season, behind only SEC foes Georgia, Auburn and Alabama
- Missouri returned every single routine from the 2016 season. Last year, the freshman class led the way with 181 total routines, followed by the sophomore class with 108 and the junior class with 23.
- Head Coach Shannon Welker enters his fourth season at the helm of the Tiger program. In his first three years in Columbia, Welker has Mizzou back in the national spotlight. In 2016, the Tigers posted their highest NCAA Regional finish (third) since 2010 and finished the season ranked 19th nationally, ahead of Southeastern Conference foes Arkansas and Kentucky. Additionally, Missouri recorded three scores of at least 196.625 or higher during the year in 2016, only the second time Mizzou accomplished that in the 37 year history of the program.
LAST TIME OUT
- Missouri scored a season-high 196.750 at Florida on Feb. 24
- The score also was the sixth-highest total in program history and the second-best road score in school history
- The total also gives the Tigers five scores of 196 or better on the year for only the fourth time in school history (two of those times, 2017 and 2016, have come under Shannon Welker)
- Mizzou scored a 49.175 or higher on all four events to accomplish that feat for only the second time in program history
- Sophomore Britney Ward claimed her team-leading eighth event title of the year with a personal-best 9.950 on beam
- Also notching career-highs during the meet were junior Becca Schugel (9.900 on floor) and sophomore Allison Bower (9.850 on beam)
MISSOURI RANKED 15TH NATIONALLY
- Missouri is ranked 15th in this week's RoadToNational's national rankings, released on Monday, with an regional qualifying score (RQS) of 196.145
- The Tigers have stayed in the top 15 in all eight in-season rankings, as they checked in at sixth (Jan. 9), eighth (Jan. 16), 11th (Jan. 23 and Jan. 30), 13th (Feb. 6 and Feb. 20) and 15th (Feb. 13 and Feb. 27)
- Mizzou entered the season at No. 19 in the preseason rankings
- In addition to its total team ranking, Missouri also ranks 10th nationally on vault, 16th on floor, 19th on beam and 21st on bars
TIGERS IN THE NATIONAL RANKINGS
- Three different Tigers find themselves ranked in the top 25 individually, including three in the top 10
- Sophomore Britney Ward is ranked on two events, as she checks in at eighth nationally on vault (9.910 RQS) and tied for 11th on beam (9.895)
- Junior Kennedi Harris is tied for 12th on floor (9.905)
- Additionally, freshman Aspen Tucker is 23rd in the all-around (39.150)
- The top eight gymnasts nationally earn NACGC/W Regular Season All-America first team honors, while the ninth-16th ranked gymnasts claim second team accolades
- Ward claimed NACGC/W Regular Season All-America second team honors on beam as a freshman in 2016
MIZZOU NOTCHES SEASON-HIGH SCORE AT FLORIDA
- The Tigers scored a season-best 196.750 at Florida on Feb. 24, on week after notching a then-high 196.350.
- Mizzou's total marked the second-highest road score in program history, trailing only the 197.475 recorded at the Texas Women's Invite on March 12, 2004
- Additionally, the 196.750 was the sixth-best score in team history and the highest for the Tigers since a 196.875 against Illinois State on Feb. 26, 2010
- The score marked Mizzou's fifth team total of 196 this season, as the team scored a 196.350 on Feb. 17, 196.225s on Jan. 6 and Jan. 15 and went 196.075 on Jan. 27.
TIGERS NOTCH FIFTH 196 SCORE OF THE SEASON
- Mizzou's 196.750 at Florida marked the fifth time in 2017 the team reached the 196 mark, only the fourth time in program history Missouri accomplished this five times in a season
- The 2004 squad scored 196 or higher on nine occassions, the most-ever for the Tigers
- The 2010 and 2016 teams also reached 196 five different times, which gives Head Coach Shannon Welker two of those occurances in only four years at the head of the Tiger program
MISSOURI GOES 49.175 ON ALL EVENTS FOR SECOND-TIME EVER
- The Tigers earned scores of 49.225 on vault and 49.175 on bars, beam and floor at Florida on Feb. 24 for their season-best total of 196.750
- The meet marked only the second time in program history Mizzou scored at least a 49.175 on every event, joining the 2004 Cat Classic on Feb. 6, 2004 when the Tigers earned event scores of 49.300 on vault, 49.250 on bars, 49.225 on beam and 49.575 on floor
- Additionally, the meet at Florida also marked the first time the Tigers notched at least a 49 on all four events since April 10, 2010 at the NCAA Columbia Regional
WARD CONTINUES TO SHINE
- Sophomore Britney Ward continues her strong season as Mizzou's most consistent Tiger
- She leads the Tigers with eight event wins on the year, with four apiece on vault and beam
- Ward owns nine of Missouri's 20 9.9 scores so far this season
- Nine of her 22 routines on the year have earned at least a 9.9, while 17 have gone 9.8 or better
- She also ranks eighth nationally on vault with an RQS of 9.910 and tied for 11th nationally on beam with an RQS of 9.895
- In addition to her prowess on vault and beam, Ward entered the bars lineup at Georgia (Jan. 27) for the first time in her career and scored a career-high 9.850 at the Mardi Gras Invitational on Feb. 17
TIGERS VAULTING UP A STORM
- The Tigers rank 10th nationally on vault with an RQS of 49.200 and own an average score of 49.153
- So far this year, Missouri has scored at least a 49.050 in eight of nine meets, including the last eight in a row
- Mizzou started the trend with a 49.225 at Arkansas on Jan. 13, set a program-record 49.425 in the State of Missouri
- Meet on Jan. 15, went 49.225 against Alabama on Jan. 20, scored a 49.125 at both Georgia and LSU, had a 49.050 in their quad meet against George Washington, Iowa State and Lindenwood, went 49.200 at the Mardi Gras Invitational and had a 49.225 at Florida
- Sophomore Britney Ward leads the Tigers and is eighth nationally with an RQS of 9.910
- Ward has four scores of 9.925 or better so far this season, as she went 9.950 against Alabama and posted 9.925s

WARD ADDS TO HER EVENT TITLE HAUL
- Sophomore Britney Ward won her eighth event title of the season on Feb. 24
- She scored a career-high 9.950 on beam to claim the crown
- Her wins upped her season totals to four titles on vault and four on beam
- Last season, Ward won a total of 12 titles during her freshman campaign, with six apiece on vault and beam
MISSOURI BREAKS SCHOOL VAULT RECORD
- Missouri's State of Missouri Meet win against host Lindenwood and Southeast Missouri on Jan. 15 was highlighted by a new program record for the Tigers
- The squad closed the meet with a 49.425 on vault, the highest output on the event in program history
- Mizzou bested the old mark of 49.375, which was set at the Texas Women's Invite on March 12, 2004
- The Tigers only used five gymnasts to notch the 49.425, led by a career-best 9.950 (out of 9.950) by sophomore Morgan Porter
- Other Tiger scores included a 9.900 from junior Kennedi Harris, 9.875 from freshman Aspen Tucker and 9.850s from senior Angie Kern and sophomore Madeleine Huber
