Tigers Enjoyed Standout Fall 2016 Season
- From Oct. 3-4 in Columbia, Mo., Mizzou claimed top honors at the 2016 Johnie Imes Invitational, marking its third consecutive team victory at the event.
- Mizzou's 864 team score at the Johnie marked the program's third-lowest all-time 54-hole team total.
- The Tigers continued their success the following week at the Jim West Challenge (Oct. 9-10), shooting an 878 total score, marking the ninth-lowest all-time 54-hole score in program history.
- Mizzou tallied two top 10 all-time 18-hole team scores this fall (282 at Johnie Imes – seventh lowest, 283 at Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown – tied for ninth lowest).
- Since the Fall 2015 season began (1.5-year span), Mizzou has produced three team tournament wins.
- The Tigers continue to show substantial improvement overall, as they claimed only three team victories the previous five years (Fall 2009 – Fall 2013).
Allen Emerging as Tigers' Top Threat
- Following a 2016 SEC All-Freshman Team performance in her first year with the Tigers, sophomore Emma Allen has carried that success over to her 2016-17 season.
- Over Mizzou's four Fall 2016 tournaments, Allen shot a combined 3-under with three tournaments under par.
- Additionally, Allen placed top 15 in three of the four tournaments, highlighted by a T-6th finish at the 2016 Johnie Imes Invitational.
Yuen Enjoying Successful Start to Freshman Season
- Freshman Jessica Yuen joined Allen as the most consistent Tigers during the Fall 2016 campaign.
- Yuen placed top 25 in three of her four tournaments, including a pair of top 10 finishes. The Bolingbrook, Ill., native's top individual finish occurred at the 2016 Johnie Imes Invitational, as she placed T-8th overall.
- The first-year Tiger capped off her impressive fall season with a blistering 5-under performance at the Las Vegas Collegiate Shootout. Yuen placed T-10th in the final individual rankings in Las Vegas, Nev.
