Earleywine Records Career Win No. 600
- Following the Tigers' 4-3 victory over Charleston Southern on Friday, Feb. 10, head coach Ehren Earleywine officially earned his 600th career win.
- Earleywine is in his 14th year of coaching with three years at Georgia Tech (2004-06) and 11 years at Mizzou (2007-present).
- Heading into this weekend's ASU Littlewood Classic, Earleywine possesses an outstanding 603-210 (.742) career record. Over his 11 years in Tiger black and gold, Earleywine holds an impressive 457-155 (.747) career win-loss record.
- Since Earleywine's initial season at Mizzou in 2007, the Tigers have reached 10 consecutive NCAA Regionals, eight NCAA Super Regionals (2008-13, 15-16) and three trips to the Women's College World Series (2009-11).
Norman Delivers at Charleston Southern Tournament
- Following a two-year stint at Louisville, Missouri native Madi Norman (Tipton, Mo.) made her Tigers debut at the CSU Tournament (Feb. 10-12).
- Norman was the only Tiger hurler to appear in all five games in Charleston, S.C., as she played a pivotal role into Mizzou's four victories.
- Overall, Norman went 2-0 with a 2.19 ERA and 1 SV over 16.0 IP.
- The Tiger newcomer saved her best effort for last, firing a CG shutout win over 2017 preseason Atlantic Sun Conference favorites, USC Upstate (Feb. 12).
- It marked Norman's first career complete game triumph, while also establishing a new career high in strikeouts (six).
Mack Opens Senior Year with a Bang
- If senior Kirsten Mack's performance at the CSU Tournament was a sign of things to come this season, then Tigers fans are in for a treat in 2017.
- Mack paced all Tigers batters in average (.429), runs scored (4), hits (6), doubles (2), home runs (1), RBI (3) and total bases (11) over the season-opening five-game stretch.
- After going hitless in Mizzou's season opener, Mack responded in a big way, hitting .545 (6-for-11) over the team's final four games in Charleston, S.C.
- The Riverside, Calif., native tallied three consecutive multi-hit games, highlighted by hits in four consecutive at bats (single, two doubles and one home run) against Charleston Southern and No. 14 James Madison (Feb. 10-11).
