COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou Volleyball will host its annual Black & Gold scrimmage and popular Youth Clinic on Wednesday, Aug. 16. First serve inside the Hearnes Center is slated for 6:30 p.m. CT.

Prior to the scrimmage, Tigers fans can partake in the 2017 Mizzou Volleyball Youth Clinic inside the Hearnes Center Fieldhouse. Admission is free for all youth participants entering grades K-8. The event will run from 4:45 p.m. – 5:45 p.m. Registration inside the Hearnes Fieldhouse begins at 4:15 p.m. CT.

Parents can preregister their children for the Youth Clinic by contacting Mizzou Volleyball Marketing Coordinator, Marissa McElwain (mammq5@mail.missouri.edu).

Players and coaches from Mizzou Volleyball and Columbia College Volleyball will serve as instructors throughout the Youth Clinic. The Cougars Volleyball program is led by head coach Melinda Wyre-Washington, who was a team captain and All-Big Eight selection for Mizzou from 1990-93.

Children who attend the Mizzou Volleyball Youth Clinic and Black & Gold Scrimmage will be treated to free pizza after the clinic and free cupcakes following the scrimmage. Additionally, all fans in attendance are invited to an autograph session with the 2017 Mizzou Volleyball team following the scrimmage.
