Mizzou’s Mackenzie Perez Named to 2017 SEC Women’s Golf Community Service Team

Mizzou redshirt sophomore Mackenzie Perez (Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif.) was named to the 2017 Southeastern Conference Women's Golf Community Service Team, announced last week (May 4) as a part of this year's annual golf awards.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Mizzou redshirt sophomore Mackenzie Perez (Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif.) was named to the 2017 Southeastern Conference Women's Golf Community Service Team, announced last week (May 4) as a part of this year's annual golf awards.

Perez was one of 14 recipients on this year's SEC Women's Golf Community Service Team. Over her three years at the University of Missouri, Perez has been a steady and passionate contributor to the local Columbia, Mo., community.

Volunteer work in the Mid-Missouri area has included the Columbia Golf Foundation, University of Missouri Veterans Hospital, Special Olympics buddy, Rally for Rhyan Men's Basketball program, local food banks, Mizzou Moves event and aiding families in need around the area.
