COLUMBIA, Mo. – No. 24 Mizzou Softball will host Nebraska-Omaha on Wednesday, April 19, in a late-season schedule addition, announced Thursday by head coach Ehren Earleywine. First pitch at Mizzou Stadium is scheduled for 4 p.m. (CT).
The Tigers and Mavericks are set for their first all-time meeting. Nebraska-Omaha is a member of the Summit League and possesses a 9-23 overall record this season, including a 0-3 mark in conference play.
The Mavericks are led by head coach DJ Sanchez, who's in her first season at the helm of the program. In 2016, Nebraska-Omaha finished 30-29 (12-5 Summit) overall with a second place finish in its conference.
