KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - The Mizzou diving teams finished competition at the three-day Tennessee Diving Invite with four top-eight finishes on Thursday in Knoxville, Tenn. Over the course of the event, seven different Tigers tallied 11 top-11 placements.
Three Tiger women finished in the top eight on platform on Thursday. Junior Alexa Beckwith led the way with a fifth-place finish after a round of 227.10 points, just ahead of redshirt senior Lauren Reedy's 226.75 points for sixth. Additionally, sophomore Payton Conrad took eighth with a score of 221.20.
On the men's platform, sophomore Kyle Goodwin, who took second on 1-meter a day ago, finished fifth on platform with a score of 320.85.
The Tigers return to the diving well on Friday, Jan. 6 when the squad joins the swimmers in a two-day meet against Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky. Friday diving gets underway at 1 p.m. CT with swimming at 2 p.m. Saturday action is slated for 10 a.m. CT.
