KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - Junior Kendra Kieser (Plano, Texas) and sophomore Kyle Goodwin (Aurora, Colorado) of the Mizzou diving teams both recorded second-place finishes Wednesday during day two action at the three-day Tennessee Diving Invite in Knoxville, Tennessee. Kieser took second on women's 1-meter, while Goodwin finished second on men's 1-meter. 

Goodwin placed second after a career best finals tally of 399.40, which included dives of 75.00 and 74.40 midway through the round. The score bested Goodwin's previous high on the board by 44 points and moved the sophomore into fourth-place on Mizzou's all-time list. Additionally, junior Hunter Fritter (Houston, Texas) placed 10th with a finals total of 327.50, not far off his prelims score of 339.15. 

On women's 3-meter, Kieser notched her second-place finish after scoring 289.35 points in finals, a 19 point improvement from her prelims total. Also advancing to finals was redshirt senior Lauren Reedy (Rochester Hills, Michigan), who took seventh with 268.75 points. 

Competition at the Tennessee Diving Invite will conclude on Thursday, Jan. 5 with men's and women's platform at 10 a.m. CT.
