COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou Volleyball concludes this season's nonconference tournament schedule from Sept. 16-17 at the 40th annual Delaware Invitational. The Tigers will be joined by Delaware, Duquesne and Miami (Fla.) inside Acierno Arena throughout the weekend set.
Mizzou will face Duquesne on Friday, Sept. 16, in its tournament opener. First serve is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. (CT). The Tigers close their run at the 2016 Delaware Invitational with a doubleheader on Saturday, Sept. 17. Mizzou will meet Miami (Fla.) at 9 a.m. (CT), followed by a 6 p.m. (CT) contest against host Delaware.

Tigers Take Two-of-Three at Idaho State Invitational
- Mizzou took two-of-three matches last weekend (Sept. 9-10) at the Idaho State Invitational with 3-1 victories over Idaho State and Boise State.
- The Tigers started off strong in Pocatello, Idaho, defeating the host Bengals, 3-1. Redshirt junior Melanie Crow, redshirt junior Kira Larson and junior Sydney Deeken each tallied double-digit kills to lead Mizzou's offense.
- Crow paced the Tigers in single-match kills for the fifth consecutive time, following a 17 kills output. Larson exploded for 11 of her 13 kills in the final two sets. Overall, she tallied an impressive .385 hitting percentage against Idaho State. Deeken was unstoppable in the early going, producing 11 kills on .348 hitting through the first two sets.
Crow and Kan named to All-Tournament Team
- Crow and senior Carly Kan were awarded All-Tournament Team honors for their outstanding weekends on the court.
- Crow led the Tigers in kills (48) and points (58.0), while Kan paced the team in aces (5) and finished second in digs per set (2.18) and points (32.0).
- Last Saturday's honors marked Crow's third consecutive All-Tournament Team recognition to begin the 2016 season and Kan's second All-Tournament Team nod of the year.
Deeken and Thater Also Shine Offensively in Pocatello
- Deeken and senior Emily Thater also shined on offense as a whole last weekend. Deeken's 27 kills were second-most on the team, while producing a solid .311 hitting percentage.
- Thater contributed 19 kills on .308 hitting with eight total blocks.
- Additionally, senior Alexa Ethridge was a mainstay at libero, recording a team-high 36 digs over the Tigers' three matches.
