
@MUWomensGolf’s Kim Qualifies for US Women’s Amateur Championship

COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou Women's Golf sophomore Amanda Kim (O'Fallon, Mo.) qualified for the 2016 USGA Women's Amateur Championship after finishing tied for third in the event qualifier at Lawrence Country Club in Lawrence, Kan., on Monday (July 11).
The USGA Women's Amateur Championship will be at the Rolling Green Golf Club in Springfield, Penn., from Aug. 1-7. Kim qualified after shooting a 77 on Monday, with a 37 on the front nine and 40 on the back. That was three shots off the lead as she finished tied for third place.
