OPENING TIP
• Mizzou started the season 13-0 for the first time in program history with an unblemished run through nonconference play and the Tigers reached 18 wins before February for only the second time in program history and first since the 1976-77 season. Mizzou is currently fifth in the SEC at 5-4 during league play.
• Sierra Michaelis scored a game-high 20 points to lead Mizzou to a 60-46 victory at Ole Miss on Sunday. She drained four 3-pointers and finished with 16 points in second half. Jordan Frericks added 17 points and nine rebounds. After trailing the Rebels by one point at halftime, Mizzou outscored Ole Miss 42-27 over the game's final 20 minutes.
• The Tigers are ranked No. 21 in the most recent Associated Press Top 25 poll, marking seven consecutive weeks that Mizzou has been ranked nationally, which last occurred from Jan. 29 - March 11, 1984. When the Tigers broke into the Top 25 on Dec. 21, it marked the first national ranking for the program since Jan. 9, 2006, which lasted only a week. Mizzou also broke into the USA Today Coaches Poll this week at No. 24, marking the first time they have been in the poll since the end of 2000-01.
• Thursday's game will feature the annual Blackout at Mizzou Arena. Fans that wear black will receive $2 admission.

• The Tigers rank 18th nationally in rebounding margin (+9.1), 23rd in scoring margin (+14.1), 28th in field goal percentage defense (35.3), 29th in field goal percentage (44.4), are tied for 39th in free throw percentage (73.9) and rank 41st in 3-pointers per game (7.2).
• Forwards Jordan Frericks and Cierra Porter are shooting 56 and 54 percent from the field, respectively. Mizzou's starting five is shooting 50 percent from the floor and 39 percent from 3-point range.
• Freshman guard Sophie Cunningham leads the team in scoring (13.2) and is tied for 11th in the SEC. She is the only freshman in the top 22 in the league in points. Cunningham has been named SEC Freshman of the Week four times, which is also tops among SEC freshmen.
• Mizzou is 5-3 all-time against Georgia, including a 54-48 victory at Stegeman Coliseum on Jan. 7. Cierra Porter scored 11 points and grabbed 11 rebounds that night while Jordan Frericks added 11 points and six boards in Mizzou's first SEC win of the season. That win was the first for the Tigers in Athens since March 18, 2001,, which also marks the last NCAA Tournament victory for Mizzou.

• The Lady Bulldogs are 16-6 overall and 4-5 during SEC play.
• Joni Taylor is in her first season leading the program after taking over for Andy Landers, who retired following last year after coaching Georgia for its first 36 years of women's basketball.
• Senior guard Tiaria Griffin (Monticello, Miss.) averages a team-leading 14.0 points per game. She leads all active SEC players with 196 career 3-pointers.
• Senior guard/forward Shacobia Barbee (Murfreesboro, Tenn.) scores 12.7 points and grabs a team-best 9.1 rebounds per game. She ranks fourth among active SEC players with 22 career double-doubles.
