COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou Volleyball continued its tradition of honoring important figures on-and-off the court this past weekend at the 2016 Tiger Invitational. Head Coach Wayne Kreklow and Assistant Coach Susan Kreklow were joined on-court by Jim Wilson prior to the Tigers' tournament opener.

Jim is the father to two former Mizzou Volleyball players, Catie Wilson (2007-10) and Emily Wilson (2011-14). Both Catie and Emily enjoyed successful careers during their tenures in black and gold.

Catie enjoyed a standout 2009 campaign, tallying a team-high .324 hitting percentage and 0.83 blocks per set. Emily is only one of 15 Tigers in program history to accumulate 1,000 career kills and was a key member of the 2013 SEC Championship winning team.

Along with cheering on his two daughters during their playing days, Jim has been a consistent Tiger fan in the Hearnes Center for 10 consecutive seasons. Mizzou Volleyball presented Jim with an autographed team volleyball and an on-court recognition prior to the 21st annual Tiger Invitational.
