Rosburg Named to 2016 SEC Community Service Team

Mizzou Men's Basketball was represented on this year's SEC Community Service Team by senior forward Ryan Rosburg (Chesterfield, Mo.).

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - In a continuing effort to recognize the accomplishments of student-athletes beyond the field of competition, the SEC once again highlighted a Community Service Team for men's basketball for the 2015-16 season. Mizzou Men's Basketball was represented on this year's SEC Community Service Team by senior forward Ryan Rosburg (Chesterfield, Mo.).

Throughout his senior season and entire Black & Gold career, Rosburg has been a constant presence in the local Columbia community. Most notably, he has served as a Food Bank of Central Missouri volunteer and a Special Olympics volunteer.

Also in his spare time, Rosburg has volunteered with Caleb's Pitch at the MU Children's Hospital and additionally served as a mentor for Boys and Girls Clubs of Columbia, Missouri. Rosburg also reads to elementary school classes.

Rosburg, who plays his final game at Mizzou on Saturday, March 5, vs. Florida, has been recognized three times to SEC academic honor rolls throughout his career.

This marks the 18th year for the SEC Community Service Team for men's basketball as well as for women's basketball. All 21 league-sponsored sports have had a Community Service Team since 2004, with at-large teams for men's and women's sports being chosen from 1999-2003. The SEC began this concept with a football Community Service Team in 1994.
