COLUMBIA, Mo. – After beginning its season with 12 consecutive wins and four tournament championships, Mizzou Volleyball concludes its nonconference schedule Wednesday evening at Saint Louis. First serve at Chaifetz Pavilion is scheduled for 7 p.m. CT.
The Tigers will seek revenge against the Billikens as they dropped a 3-2 contest last season at the Hearnes Center. Mizzou leads the all-time series against Saint Louis, 18-8.

- The Tigers (12-0) are the last remaining undefeated team in the SEC and are just one of seven remaining undefeated teams in the NCAA, joining San Francisco (13-0), Kansas (12-0), USC (12-0), Arizona State (11-0), Penn State (11-0) and Washington (10-0).
- For the fourth consecutive weekend, Mizzou went a perfect 3-0 and claimed another tournament title. Last weekend at the Butler Invitational, the Tigers defeated Southern Illinois (3-1), Butler (3-1) and Youngstown State (3-0) en route to their first place honors.
- Mizzou saved its best performance for last in Indianapolis with its 3-0 sweep over Youngstown State. The Tigers collectively hit .371 against the Penguins, marking their second-highest team hitting percentage of the season.
- The Tigers were once again led by junior Carly Kan (Honolulu, Hawaii) this past weekend. Kan was named the Butler Invitational MVP after recording 55 kills on .307 hitting and two double-doubles. In her last two matches, she recorded 44 kills on .435 hitting to close out another impressive tournament.
- Kan now has seven 20-plus kill matches and seven double-doubles this season. The two-time AVCA All-American is leading the SEC in kills per set (4.74) and points per set (5.27). Additionally, Kan ranks ninth in the country in each of the respective categories.
- For her outstanding three-match stretch in Indianapolis, Kan earned SEC Co-Offensive Player of the Week honors Monday. The award marked Kan's second recognition from the SEC office this season. She was previously named SEC Player of the Week on Monday, Sept. 14, after tallying 72 kills on .299 hitting at the 2015 Appalachian State Invitational.
- Redshirt sophomore Kira Larson (Fargo, N.D.) and junior Alexa Ethridge (Lee's Summit, Mo.) were also named to the Butler Invitational All-Tournament Team this past weekend. Larson joins Kan as Tigers to be named to all four All-Tournament Teams this season. The right side hitter continued her efficient attack this season while in Indianapolis as she totaled 28 kills on .348 hitting. Overall this season, Larson is hitting .377 (seventh in the SEC) and has eclipsed .300 hitting in a match eight times.
- Ethridge earned her first All-Tournament Team honor after producing a team-leading 51 digs (4.64 per set) and 11 assists in Indianapolis. She has a team-leading 186 digs this season and has paced the team in that category in nine matches.

The Tigers begin their Southeastern Conference schedule Wednesday, Sept. 30, against No. 5 Florida. First serve at the Hearnes Center is scheduled for 7 p.m. CT and the match will be televised live on SEC Network.
