Student-athletes discuss "lollipop moments" and start "Make A Difference" projects
COLUMBIA, Mo. - Mizzou Athletic's Tiger Leadership Institute is off to a great start with its inaugural 2015-16 class, as the group has begun the steady process of growing as leaders and individuals.
That growth took a big step on Tuesday, as the TLI student-athletes discussed the positive impact one single moment of leadership can have on another person, no matter how insignificant it may seem at the time. Mizzou's TLI class viewed a lecture called "Leading with Lollipops" which can also be seen by Mizzou fans below.
Additionally, Mizzou's TLI group began planning for its "Make A Difference" service projects. Each crew (view rosters here) is tasked with devising and executing a community service project that will allow them to showcase leadership skills and have a measurable positive impact on a local community or group.
