COLUMBIA, Mo. - The Mizzou soccer team continues conference action with a match against No. 16 South Carolina on Sunday, Sept. 20 at 2 p.m. at Walton Stadium in the team's annual Pack and Park and Pink Out events. Tickets are only $1 for all fans and the first 800 fans will receive a pink Mizzou soccer wristband.
Sunday's SEC clash with be televised live on ESPNU, with Trey Burke and Cat Whitehill on the call. Mizzou owns a 3-1 edge in the all-time series against South Carolina, with all matches coming since the Tigers joined the SEC in 2012.

Pink Out - The first 800 fans receive a pin
- Last season, Mizzou went on the road to defeatthen-No. 14 South Carolina, 1-0, on a goal from junior Lauren Selaiden. The two teams also met in the quarterfinals of the 2014 SEC Championship, where the Gamecocks posted a 2-1 victory over the Tigers.
- The Tigers enter the match 1-0-0 in SEC action after a 2-1 victory over then-No. 9 Auburn on Sept. 11. Mizzou received goals from sophomores Savannah Trujillo and Alli Magaletta to secure the win in the conference opener.
- Freshman keeper Kelsey Dossey ranks third nationally among freshman goalies (second true freshman keepers) with a 0.52 goals against average. She also ranks fourth overall in the SEC in that category.
- Mizzou's win over then-No. 9 Auburn on Sept. 11 marked the first win for the Tigers over a top-10 team since a 1-0 victory against No. 7 Florida on Sept. 29, 2013. The Tigers two goals against previously undefeated Auburn were the first goals of the season allowed by the Auburn defense, which entered that match with six consecutive shutouts to open 2015.
- Trujillo leads a balanced Tiger attack that has seen seven different Tigers score Mizzou's eight goals. Trujillo paces the team with two goals, while seniors Lauren Flynn, Candace Johnson and Reagan Russell, junior Selaiden and sophomore Magaletta all have one on the year.
- Dossey became the first Mizzou goalie to start the season opener since Laura Buehrig in 2004.
- The Mizzou defense has allowed only 3.1 shots on goal to its opponents in 2015, which ranks fourth in the SEC.
- 2015 marks the 20th season of Mizzou soccer, as the program started in 1996 under the direction of current Head Coach Bryan Blitz. Blitz and the Tigers own identical 211-167-27 records in 20 seasons.
- Eight starters are back for Mizzou in 2015 from the 2014 squad that went 12-7-3 and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
- The 2015 schedule features matchups with five teams that qualified for the 2014 NCAA Tournament. season.
