vs. Omaha (Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2015)

• Mizzou improved to 5-0 at home this season with its 85-78 win over Omaha. The 85 points are the second-highest single-game total this season and the third 80-plus point game this season
• The Tigers improved its all-time record against Omaha to 2-0
• Mizzou's strong defense led to a season-high nine steals. The team's last nine-plus steal game was on Jan. 29, 2015, against Kentucky.
• The Tigers' defense forced a season-high 16 Omaha turnovers. The last time a Tigers' opponent committed 16-plus turnovers was on Jan. 8, 2015, against LSU.
• A balanced scoring attack has been a recent trend for Mizzou as the team had four or more players with double-digit points for the third consecutive game.
• Mizzou tallied 37 rebounds and 13 assists Wednesday, marking its fifth consecutive game with 30-plus rebounds and 10-plus assists.
• The Tigers reigned supreme on the boards, out-rebounding Omaha 37-34. It marked their third consecutive game out-rebounding their opponent.
• Freshman forward Kevin Puryear paced the Tigers' offense with 18 points, marking his fourth consecutive double-digit point game and seventh overall this season.
• Puryear's eight rebounds set a new season-high in the category, surpassing his previous best of seven on Dec. 1, against Arkansas State.
• Freshman guard Terrence Phillips knocked down three 3-pointers in the first half, matching his season-high in just the first 20 minutes of play.
• Phillips finished with 14 points, marking his second-highest scoring output and fourth double-digit point game of the season.
• Sophomore guard Namon Wright tallied five rebounds in the first half, marking the seventh time in his past eight games with at least four rebounds.
• Wright's seven total rebounds matched his season and career-high set previously this year on Nov. 13, vs. Wofford.
• Sophomore forward Jakeenan Gant swatted away a first half shot by Omaha, giving him at least one block in 7-of-8 games so far this season.
• For the second consecutive game, Gant finished with 11 points, matching his season-high.
• Freshman guard Cullen VanLeer knocked down a three early in the second half, pushing his streak of at least one three-pointer in a game to eight consecutive contests.
• Freshman guard K.J. Walton posted his third double-digit scoring game of the season after recording 10 against the Mavericks.
• Seven Tigers reached the scoreboard in the first half as the team shot 50-percent (14-for-28) from the field.
• Mizzou outscored the Mavericks 14-6 to begin the second half, leading to its largest lead of the game (15).
