COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou Volleyball returns to the Hearnes Center on Wednesday, Oct. 28, with a matchup against Alabama. First serve is scheduled for 7 p.m. (CT). The Tigers and Crimson Tide's contest will broadcast live on SEC Network with Tiffany Greene and Maria Taylor on the call.

- The first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive an exclusive Mizzou Volleyball "Point Mizzou" roll-out banner.
QUICK DIGS
- Mizzou leads the all-time series vs. Alabama, 4-3. The Crimson Tide possess a 2-1 series advantage in matches played in Columbia, Mo.
- In the teams' last meeting, Alabama claimed a 3-2 (21-25, 27-25, 25-23, 17-25, 11-15) victory over the Tigers on Oct. 11, 2015, in Tuscaloosa, Ala.
- This past week, Mizzou competed in its second consecutive home and away pair of contests. Beginning on Friday, Oct. 23, the Tigers posted an impressive 3-1 (28-30, 25-12, 25-16, 25-12) win over Mississippi State. The victory sealed a season series sweep over the Bulldogs and improved Mizzou's all-time record against them to 8-0.
- The Tigers exploded for a season-high 18.0 total blocks against the Bulldogs, including a career-high nine total blocks by freshman Alyssa Munlyn and seven total blocks from junior Emily Thater. Redshirt sophomore Kira Larson had arguably her top match as a Tiger, matching her career-high in kills (15) with six total blocks and establishing a new career-high in points (18.0).
- Two days later in Gainesville, Fla., the Tigers ended their season-series with Florida and dropped a 3-0 (12-25, 14-25, 17-25) matchup. Despite the loss, junior Carly Kan produced nine kills and nine digs, narrowly missing out on another double-double. Mizzou's thrilling 3-2 win vs. Florida on Sept. 30 continues to impress as the Gators are currently ranked No. 1 in the latest NCAA RPI rankings.
- The Tigers still remain one of the nation's most efficient hitting teams, as their .276 hitting percentage ranks third in the SEC and 16th in the NCAA.
- Mizzou is a perfect 17-0 this season when it possesses a higher hitting percentage than its opponent. Additionally, the Tigers are 13-0 when they out-kill their opponents and 14-0 when they out-dig their foes.
UP NEXT
Following Wednesday evening's match, Mizzou continues its SEC schedule with another home contest on Sunday, Nov. 1. The Tigers will welcome Auburn to the Hearnes Center with first serve scheduled for 4 p.m. (CT). Sunday afternoon marks Mizzou's "Bust The House" match in Columbia, Mo., with free admission for all fans.
The first Mizzou Volleyball playing cards giveaway is also scheduled with the first 500 fans in attendance receiving the exclusive giveaway.
