@MizzouSoftball's Paige Lowary Invited To 2016 USA Softball Women's National Team Selection Camp

Sophomore LHP spent this past summer with USA Softball Junior Women's National Team
OKLAHOMA CITY – Mizzou Softball sophomore LHP Paige Lowary (Dallas Center, Iowa) has been selected as one of 43 invitees for the 2016 USA Softball Women's National Team Selection Camp, as announced by USA Softball and The Amateur Softball Association (ASA). The camp will be held from Jan. 2-8, 2016 in Irvine, Calif.
All invitees to the camp will compete for one of 17 spots on the 2016 USA Softball Women's National Team roster that will compete at the World Cup of Softball XI, the XV World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) Women's World Championships in Surrey, B.C., Canada and the Japan Cup.
This past summer, Lowary was one of 20 student-athletes selected to the 2015 USA Softball Junior Women's National Team (JWNT).
Lowary had an outstanding first-year campaign with Mizzou Softball in 2015, posting an 18-7 record, 3.40 ERA and over a strikeout an inning (164 Ks in 162.2 IP). In addition, the Tiger hurler earned SEC Pitcher of the Week honors on Feb. 23, after going 3-0 with a 1.91 ERA at the 2015 Mary Nutter Classic and SEC Co-Freshman of the Week honors on April 27, following a 3-0 record and 0.67 ERA stretch from April 20-26.
