• The Tigers are 3-0 all-time against the Gamecocks, with all three matchups occurring after Mizzou joined the SEC before the 2012-13 season.

CLARK IN CONFERENCE...
• Sophomore guard Wes Clark has been dynamic in Mizzou's conference games, averaging a team-best 11.8 points per game vs. SEC opponents.
• Clark has shouldered the load in helping generate offense for the Tigers during the SEC schedule, as he leads the team with his 122 field goal attempts. That total ranks fourth-highest in the conference. His 43 field goal makes ranks 15th-best in the SEC.
• Additionally, Clark's 19 three-pointers in SEC games rank eighth in the league. Clark has hoisted up 60 three-point field goal attempts through 10 conference contests.
• Clark's 1.6 steals per SEC game ranks fifth-best in the conference.

A LOOK AT THE OPPONENT... SOUTH CAROLINA
• South Carolina (11-11, 2-8) will host Mizzou on Tuesday, Feb. 10, with an 8-4 home record entering the contest. Although head coach Frank Martin's squad has fallen in two consecutive road games, at Arkansas (Feb. 3, 75-55) and at Vanderbilt (Feb. 7, 65-50), the Gamecocks claimed their last contest inside Colonial Life Arena (Georgia, Jan. 31, 67-50).
• The Gamecocks have been a team that scores 66.9 points per game and holds its opponents to 61.3 points per game through 22 games. Part of that defensive effort has been South Carolina's opponents shooting 37.1 percent from the field, while the Gamecocks hit on 41.7 percent of their shots.
• Leading South Carolina in scoring has been Sindari Thornwell, who averages 11.4 points per game. Narrowly behind Thornwell in that department is Duane Notice's 11.0 points per game.
• Coming off the bench and leading South Carolina in assists has been Marcus Stroman, who has a team-best 79 dimes and averages 3.6 per game.
• In conference action, Thornwell has remained the Gamecocks' leading scorer with 11.3 points per game. The squad's second-leading scorer in conference games has been Tyrone Johnson (10.3 points per game).
• Mizzou is 3-0 all-time against South Carolina on the court, with all three contests coming with the Tigers as SEC members.
• The Black & Gold began the series vs. South Carolina at home in Mizzou Arena, winning the two schools' first-ever meeting on Jan. 22, 2013, a 71-65 victory. Mizzou picked up its first win in the SEC's other Columbia on its first try later that season, a 90-68 victory on Feb. 28, 2013.
• The Tigers won last season's only matchup, 82-74, in Mizzou Arena on Jan. 25, 2014.

• Mizzou head coach Kim Anderson has advanced to the second round of the four-round Infiniti Coaches' Charity Challenge. He is competing with 23 other NCAA Division I men's basketball coaches for a great cause: a $100,000 donation to charity. Anderson is representing Boys & Girls Clubs of Columbia, Missouri.
• Mizzou fans and those wishing to support the Boys & Girls Clubs of Columbia, Missouri, can vote for Anderson at www.espn.com/infiniti.
• As an official corporate partner of the NCAA, Infiniti will make total donations throughout the competition of $349,000. As coaches advance throughout the competition, donations totaling $249,000 will be awarded to each of their charities of choice; the farther they advance, the more money the coaches raise. The final winning coach will receive a total of $100,000 to benefit his charity of choice.
• The second round runs from Jan. 26 - Feb. 15, with the third round of voting cutting the field to 16 coaches.
