
Wrestling Releases Tentative 2014-15 Home Schedule

COLUMBIA, Mo. - Mizzou wrestling will host eight home matches this season, including four Mid-American Conference (MAC) opponents, as announced by head coach Brian Smith and Mizzou Athletics.
Coming off their third consecutive conference championship, Tiger Style wrestling kicks off their 2014-15 home schedule on Nov. 15 with a doubleheader against Truman State and Missouri Baptist. Mizzou squares off against Truman State at 5:00 p.m. at the Hearnes Center and then take on Missouri Baptist at 6:30 p.m.
The Tigers only have one home match in December, but it is a big one as Kent State, South Dakota State and Southern Illinois all come to the Hearnes Center on Dec. 19.
Mizzou then hosts five duals in the month of January with the calendar flipping over to 2015. On Jan. 17, MAC foe Central Michigan travels to Columbia, Mo. with the Tigers hosting North Carolina State the following day on Jan. 18 at 1:00 p.m.
Perennial NCAA powerhouse, Oklahoma State, makes their way to the Hearnes Center on Jan. 23 for a 6:30 p.m. evening showdown. Two days later on Jan. 25, Mizzou hosts another MAC opponent at 1:00 p.m. with Northern Illinois traveling to mid-Missouri. Northern Iowa rounds out the January home slate, as the two programs battle on Jan. 31.
Mizzou closes out this season's home schedule with the first round of 2015 National Duals. The Tigers and American University meet on Feb. 15 at the Hearnes Center. The National Duals finals take place on Feb. 22 in Iowa City, IA.
