2014 Football X's and O's Clinic This Saturday

COLUMBIA, Mo. - The annual popular X's and O's Clinic makes its return to Memorial Stadium this Saturday, Aug. 23, as announced today by Mizzou Athletics. Rockie Alden and Mizzou football wives are set to coordinate the event, taking place in the LeMone Tiger Lounge inside Memorial Stadium. The event will be open to female fans only and begin promptly at 11:00 a.m.
"This is one of my personal favorite events, and it really kicks off the season for our avid, female base," Assistant Director of External Engagement and Special Events Lorraine Rodriguez said. "The Mizzou football wives, along with Rockie Alden have done a tremendous job revamping this event over the years. The new format provides guests with a very exclusive, hands-on experience not available to the general public. It's a great opportunity to get our fans ready for game day and get the inside scoop on Mizzou football before anyone else!"
Attendees to the X's and O's Clinic will enjoy exciting new activities, including game shows led by the voice of Mizzou football, Mike Kelly, and Gary Link. Fans will also have the opportunity to get a rare inside look of the Mizzou football locker room, the ability to run on Faurot Field, photo opportunities with Mizzou Spirit Squads, and tour the newly renovated press box.
Mizzou football head coach Gary Pinkel and the 2014 football team captains will make a special guest appearance during the clinic to preview upcoming season.
Fans in attendance can also shop for the latest tailgating fare, clothing, beauty products, home décor and much more, as a variety of vendors will be on-hand before the clinic begins.
Tickets for the X's and O's Clinic are available for $40 online at www.TSF-Mizzou.com/XsandOs. Each participant will receive an exclusive Mizzou tote, morning brunch courtesy of Hoss's Market and a raffle ticket for potential prizes. Fans can also purchase tickets the day of the event at the press box at Memorial Stadium.
