Reedy Places 12th at FINA Mexico Grand Prix

GUANAJUATO, Mexico - Mizzou sophomore diver Lauren Reedy (Rochester Hills, Michigan) represented the United States and took 12th on 3-meter at the FINA (Federation Internationale De Natation) Diving Grand Prix in Guanajuato, Mexico, earlier in the month.
Competing against divers from Australia, China, Colombia, Germany, Great Britain, Malaysia and Mexico, Reedy placed 12th on 3-meter at the meet. She tallied 247.35 points in prelims to advance to the semifinal round, where she scored 227.90 points to end up in 12th-place.
Each year, the FINA Diving Grand Prix invites divers from all parts of the world to compete during the February-June period in a circuit of eight four-day meets.
USA Diving sent divers to three different 2014 FINA Grand Prix events: Gatineau, Canada (May 1-4), San Juan, Puerto Rico (May 8-11) and Guanajuato, Mexico (May 15-18).
